Finland isn’t in NATO and it’s the one European country that could beat the Russians handily. They have 900,000 citizen reservists. Homeland defence willingness against a superior enemy is best in Europe. Defence budget is under €5 billion/year.

handily? they could maybe possibly fight to a stalemate. this isn't 1940 and the winter war. warfare in the 21st century is a different animal

Yeah. 80 years ago most conscripts here were farmers or loggers, used to the local natural world and able to utilize it skillfully. This was a huge reason we could fight them off so well then. Not so much so today with a vast proportion having grown up in cities sedentarily.
