Been seeing many people connect #Bitcoin with spirituality/religion.
How does it relate to it? Is it more than just a novel form of worshipping mammon?

If someone's really treating it like this... it's just the new Mammon then. More of the same in a different dressing. People think bitcoin is "beyond government control", but it's held on computers in physical locations that can be conquered just the same.

Yes, there’s definitely elements like that about it. But those have to do more with its being money; all forms of money are objects of greed and “missing the mark” (sinning) for some.
I think still its maintenance being scattered globally makes it tremendously more difficult to be stopped. Having its genesis in human ingenuity and thirst for freedom, it will also have its continuity in them
