Oh yes—though I meant the tweet in a rather subtler, esoteric way:
What you wear is what you are conscious of; you choose it yourself, and feel it in some way hanging against you (unless it fits you really well). What you embody, on the other hand,
is concealed within you, a constituent of your whole being—*unconscious to yourself*. It’s yours not by /your/ choice, but through grace (virgin birth!). It needn’t be displayed, signaled or emphasized, although it in its own ways is reflected in one’s external demeanor.
