Because the ability to articulate an experience lucidly and eloquently is very scarce, and the articulation of an experience does not say anything about the experience itself as much as about the cognition or depth of perception of the individual(s) having or expressing it

Is a poet’s love any deeper or more profound than a regular fellow’s? No: the poet simply expresses his love eloquently and beautifully in his poetry. A regular guy loves his beloved just as much as a poet, though he’s less sensitive to it as a phenomenon than the poet.
