makes sense to start here
there are a couple types of infinities in formal math:
- cardinal infinities ("how many")
- ordinal infinities (1, 2, 3, ... infinity, infinity+1, ...)
but neither of those can be negative!

Haaaa... initially I thought, “if infinity is infinite, how could there be anything added to or reduced from it?” but then i realized—that’s exactly why! It is infinite, and thus cannot be limited even in conceptual thought.
