I would love to do it, but I don't know how. Part of the day is used with grinding. Work, chores, stuff that isn't fun. How do you unwind from this if not through "leisure time"?

I recognize the wisdom in your words, but how does this work in practice? Let's say, I clean my house. It takes effort. I do it because I want and anticipate a clean house. Otherwise why do it? It's not fun. After I'm done, I am glad that cleaning is over. Now what? Leisure time!

I’d say: just do one thing at a time! When putting in effort, put in effort; when resting, rest. I feel that most strain from which one needs to recover through ‘leisure’ stems from having one’s attention shattered in thoughts, instead of just doing, or ‘being present’.
