What if our "identity/ego" is itself a part of this Matrix ? If you get out, there's no you. Maybe that's perfectly describes ego dissolution. The Bubble can't be separated from water, it actually needs it.

All this has been established in Eastern spiritual & philosophical traditions. Research 'maya'—it's a Sanskrit word for 'illusion', derived from the same root as the Latin 'matrix'.
