To follow Christ does not mean to commit idolatry and venerate an idea of an individual man above everyone else; it means to "let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus" as said in Philippians 2:5.

Yes, the soul is certainly separated from the body.
How could you expect your soul to survive the death of your body if it was not somehow (or rather partially) separated from the body? It follows logically, otherwise, logically abandon any hope of survival after physical death.

The senses are the organs or perception of the mind.
The mind is the organ of perception of the soul.
And soul is the organ of perception of God.
Your soul existed before you were born and hence, it shall also exist after your body dies. But let us not confuse mind and soul.

The mind referred to in my tweet you subtweeted was not the 'mind of Christ' of this tweet. I meant a mind preoccupied with prejudices and abstract information, not the mind that is empty of itself like Christ's mind was empty of himself.
