I agree completely. Irrespective of the fact that Mars has zero resources and the supply chain would be totally unsustainable, my prevailing sentiment is how irresponsible to consider doing to other places what we’ve done to this harmonious Eden.

Oh yes, that’s another part. It is immensely painful to observe how incapable we seem to be of any form of self-reflection. We expand for the sake of expansion like a cancer, eventually killing everything we feed off from—and ourselves with it.
