Philosophy never died, it moved to Twitter.

Is that worse? You be the judge 😁

Hahah, indeed it seems to depend on who’s asked 😉
I think it’s by no means worse. Twitter is just a medium through which it’s easy to express things that can be regarded as philosophical. Plus side is the accessibility 😄

I agree, the plus side is the accessibility. 😊 No ivory tower here. Sometimes I think it wouldn't be so bad if philosophy died, so it could be reborn.

Oh, I very much agree! I feel it lacks a certain vitality. So it perhaps could be said to already be in the dying-phase... and perhaps Twitter is one of the places of its metamorphosis’ next step where it’s free to emerge spontaneously. 😄
I think true philosophy is just as its name’s origin; a love of wisdom. It’s just become so cerebral and abstract that I feel we’ve forgotten what it originally stood for, and in what ways humanity can benefit from it.

I could not agree more! To me, a lot of philosophy seems to be about avoiding philosophy, about having an answer, a definition, so you can get rid of the questions. I don't think you can love wisdom if you don't love the open space of a question.
