Psychology takes emotions, the most natural and innate part of humanity, and turns them into a jungle of complex scientific dogma. The further it goes with this task, the more it creates knots it can’t untangle.

I’d say that following this course, it’s heading towards the same path of most institutionalized religions that it so deeply criticizes; being mainly utilized in controlling people rather than liberating them.
