Directly experiencing life as it is in its full richness, not just distantly looking at it through the musty glass of abstraction and thus feeling cut off from it... that’s what we gave away by settling for trying to box the vast, living spectrum of life into dead concepts.

Especially through alienation from ourselves, from the organisms of instincts hiding in our belly. We become witnesses, cut off from immersion. It is a sensual thing.

Yeah, it feels like we just dismiss the incredibly sensitive organism that is our body, directly connected to its surroundings... and believe that we can reason better than it. Then we wonder why everyone feels lost and nobody feels alive.
