When you're discouraged to begin something, remember that the hardest part in getting a big stone to roll down a hill is to push it down. When you've done that, it's impossible to stop.

Similarly, the hardest thing for a plant is to begin sprouting. When it's done with that, it can utilize the sunlight and nutrients from the soil ever more efficiently because it keeps growing, and in turn it has more area to absorb what it needs to grow.
