I believe in presenting them with my preferences and allowing them to decide if that’s doable for them. But that’s starting from bare minimum already having a grasp on how to be careful and considerate. I’m not teaching that.

I prefer for it to be organic and come naturally to them. So I believe teaching them to love me initially wouldn’t be something I’d do. However once they’re there I have no problem showing them other ways to. (If that makes sense.)
