@flyosity Mike this is a fantastic write-up that really makes me want to build one since my gaming PC’s getting old.

@flyosity If I could build an extremely powerful machine that could also run macOS for a fraction of the cost, I likely will.

@flyosity I’m curious how it works for you in the long run though. How hard are those software updates? How often? Any long-term problems?

@giladronat But with the latest bootloader stuff the community has been updating the day-of with few issues lol

@giladronat Haven't read anything like that happening. People building custom PCs have been stressing hardware for decades lol

@flyosity Yeah not so much stressing it (nothing will stress your machine) but I don’t know, hacky macOS things going wrong maybe.

@flyosity how much power does this setup draw during an Xcode compilation, monitor and all? Lots more than the similar iMac? Same?

@sugarfreejones No way, it's barely curved, not very noticeable. Seriously this monitor is fucking ace man.
