I’ve been contacted by two venues that have seen half their bookings wiped out at the weekend due to people booked in being pinged by T&T. I’ll remind people, the app ping is just guidance and NOT law. You do not have to isolate from an App ping, only a text or call from NHS.

If all these journalists and TV 'personalities' are so desperate for more restrictions, then they should set an example. Skip the football, don't go to Wimbledon and stay at home.

That's a very valid question. We should not even be on the red list anymore.

I posted the vid knowing they’d be some horrible c**** that would report me, I trust the Local Authorities and Police will be sensible, which after dealing with them for almost 20 years, I believe they will be. Here it is again if they want to see 😘

We must be on our guard against self-righteous puritans who wish to impose their misery on the rest of us. They must never prevail.

A running theme has been people who are desperate for more restrictions, but only for other people.

As Boris said, “if it’s not now, when can we ever open up?” I can’t believe there’s actually people that don’t get this.

I’ve just saw the most pathetic thing. A grown man masked up for England literally petrified to walk past 2 middle aged woman (demanding they make way). Sorry, he is ridiculous. If he is that scared stay home.

4 July 1954. Food rationing in Britain ended at midnight when restrictions on the sale and purchase of meat and bacon were lifted. Members of the London Housewives' Association held a special ceremony in London's Trafalgar Square to mark the occasion.

I'm writing my Viewpoint for tonight's show. It's about how the phrase 'Due To Covid' is increasingly used by some businesses and organisations to provide shoddy service. Call-centres (longer waits), banks (branch closures), universities (lectures online). Have you any examples?

London last night - after the football. They can try and shut us down, lock us up and take away our mass gatherings. But they will never take away our collective human spirit, joys of celebration and freedom of expression.

There is no excuse for booing the national anthem of a respected country such as Denmark - and there will be no excuse for booing Italy's wonderful national anthem on Sunday.

Of course it is politics, and rightly so. Threatening criminal sanctions towards those who do not wear masks is a policy decision reached on the basis of erm politics!
