I mean let's talk turkey here. If this was your main app. Is there any way at all you overlook the fact that the *iOS* version of your app is breaking one of the cardinal rules of the app store? Really???

Listen I wouldn’t like paying it if I sold mobile apps but it’s way more valuable than an empty copy of Windows. Comparing them doesn’t even make sense the biz models are totally different

I think there’s a valid reason to be upset about the inconsistency of how the rules are applied. (See slack, Disney, etc) I also believe that a 30% cut in their case should just be viewed as a marketing expense.

It is hard to imagine Windows doing it
(same 30% cut, not sure if it falls off to 15% like Apple or just stays 30%)https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/windows …Dziękujemy. Twitter skorzysta z tych informacji, aby Twoja oś czasu bardziej Ci odpowiadała. CofnijCofnij

But honestly, that's irrelevant. You have no right to be on iOS. If you don't like it don't build an app for it. Just because something is an operating system is irrelevant. Do I have a right to put an app on my refrigerator's operating system?

We wouldn’t allow Chrome to take 30% of our SaaS revenue to be “on their platform.”
This isn’t like building a Shopify add-on. This is an independent app, that needs to be installed on a popular OS.
