These micropiles are being installed to help with seismic stability and to support the additional floors going up. There are about 50 micropiles spread across around 20 different locations that will help support this new facility. Stay tuned for more #UpgradeSEA updates!

Last year Seattle helped facilitate the repatriation of iwi kupuna (ancestral Hawaiian Remains) back to Hawaii from Europe. We again had the honor and privilege of assisting a delegation accompanying their ancestors.

Kudos to our Police and Fire staff who helped coordinate a transfer through SEA for the sacred remains returning home to Hawaii.

Skybridge 2 has opened with brand-new safety bollards. Now it's Skybridge 5’s turn to get a makeover. As part of the Curbside Accessibility and Safety Project, Skybridge 5 will be closed, but there are plenty of other ways to access the terminal. Follow the posted signage. 🚧

Due to an evolving security incident at Seattle-Tacoma Airport, guests should allow extra time to get to and through the airport. We strongly encourage our guests to check the status of their flight and to check-in and access their boarding pass before coming to the airport.
