Schizophrenia is such a heartbreaking disorder man. You literally have NO control over your mind. We sit here & complain abt not having this & not having that. Man be grateful for your SANITY.

This disease low key ruined my life bc of the affect It has on everyone involved not only the one diagnosed
and how degenerative the medication makes the one ill it’s almost a double edged sword -
Yep! A close relative of mine suffers frm schizophrenia (it was triggered by the death of her son) To see her mind come & go is so fkn heartbreaking. She can never have a normal life & tht absolutely does have an impact on everyone around you. Sorry you have to experience this

It’s sad af. And I keep seeing tweets saying the NBA needs to help him, but idk what they can even do. As far as I know, there’s no cure for mental illness right? Which makes it even sadder

Many people recover from mental health disorders and/or learn to manage the symptoms well enough to live a full and healthy life.
