    There can be many distractions around you while you’re driving, both inside and outside of your vehicle. When you get in your vehicle, eliminate them. If you drive distracted, you’re a danger to yourself and others. Put it down and

    “A few more pills will be okay.” “I don’t feel that different.” “I shouldn’t mix, but I need them.” Prescription and over-the-counter meds can have adverse side effects. Research them, talk to your Dr., and know warning signs so you never drive impaired.

    Courtesy, Service, Protection – and the occasional roadside baby delivery! Two of our Florida Highway Patrol Troopers helped with a very special delivery early this morning. Wishing the family all the best on their new blessing. 🥰

    Viewer Discretion Advised: Seminole County- FHP Trooper Mike Allen assisted a father this morning, in delivering his daughter, on the side of the road. The SUV was stopped as it was speeding towards the hospital. Congratulations to the family on their new baby girl.

    FHP remembers Stephen G. Rouse who died in the line of duty on March 28, 1987. Trooper Rouse died in the line of duty as a result of a vehicle crash. At the time of his death, Trooper Rouse was 23 years old and had served the residents of Florida for 11 months.

    DUI penalties are severe‼️ (2/2) Your arrest mugshot will be available to anyone by public record law, and your employer and family will likely learn of the arrest. Don’t want those consequences? Then never drive impaired.

    DUI penalties are severe‼️ If convicted of DUI, legal entities estimate real-life cost total between $4,000-$12,000. If you do get your driver license back, you'll face increased insurance premiums, and your DUI conviction will be on your record for 75 years. (1/2)

    “I shouldn’t mix, but I need them.” Prescribed medication can create adverse reactions when mixed with other meds, over-the-counter drugs, and substances such as alcohol. Follow the directions and learn warning signs so that you never drive impaired.
