SHEEEESH!! Welcome to a Florida summer. Severe thunderstorm captured by Adam Tousignant in Ruskin! Winds 60+ mph

More official numbers from : June 17th consecutive month with statewide av. temp. warmer than normal...and 27th of last 28.

  11. 7.07

Official numbers are in... 11.78" of rain in June statewide, ranking 2nd wettest. Lack of obs. over inland S. FL likely prevented a record.

Won't go so far as to say the freeze threat has lessened..but may provide opportunity in northern counties.

0.60" needed for Pensacola to break the June record (21.14"), Gainesville already broke it at 16.84"...
