    New paper uses policy differences between the US states to study if the size of minimum wage hikes matters for employment effects. It does - small hikes had no significant effects, large hikes reduced employment rates among low-skilled individuals by approx. 2.5 pp. Details 👇

    Strongly disagree. What does it mean to say that "old books are rarely useful?" Those are precisely the ones that have stood the test of time. Also, living with books is not about impressing visitors. A library is an extension of the self. A house without books is sad.
