From the tweet it sounds like the LTS will be available *only* to subscription customers. Is that the case? Small business here, investigating what options we have for the OS in k8s land, no significant amounts of $$$ to spend on support contacts at this time.

And to be clear, you guys seem to be doing fantastic work in the Linux & container space, keep it up! Would love to chip in and give something back, but "support contract" doesn't sound like a good option right now! Cheers!
