I really like how they've done the camera work when swapping to the next character after completing a move. It feels really dynamic and adds momentum to the combat.

Well depends on how one views abstraction of mechanics, understandably in a combat encounter in a turn based strategy they have a round being 6 second intervals in universe in most TTRPGs and strategy related games. I do like the cinematography but overall is it skippable?
