I was thinking a bit ago how much I would love a Ninja Turtles Criterion edition. Just trying to imagine the cover art.

I can still sing the Pizza Hut ad they had at the beginning of the VHS. Word for word.

Elias Koteas and Miloni definitely look similar when around the same age & sound similar too

Also I was always a big fan of the farm scenes. Looking back on it, absolutely blew my mind that a movie based on children’s toys would have nearly 15 minutes or w/e of quiet contemplative/introspective non-action (even if there’s some gags) on a dang farm

Also TMNT 1 April > TMNT 2 April…she takes absolutely zero shit from her boss or the cops.

I may be showing my ass here but I notice a disturbing trend of movies in that era that presented animal - human character attraction as totally normal? Howard the Duck, etc...The TMNT were cool teens that were buff and kicked ass so it was confusing?

Yeah. I might've played it off because there's no women ninja turtles so of course they'd find a human woman attractive, even if she'd never entertain it because she wants that Casey Jones hog. It actually just now occurred to me the ninja turtles are basically incel for life.
