17) 1700+ miles from start to finish. If they walked 2.5 mph for 24 straight hours on a 1700 miles journey that would take them over 4 weeks. Obviously that isn’t even remotely realistic.
18) So let’s say for arguments sake they are walking 15 hour days at 2 miles an hour. It would take them near 60 days to compete. That puts them into December. They are expected to arrive right at mid-terms...you do the math. Without vehicle assistance it’s IMPOSSIBLE!
