Parliamentary intelligence committee's inquiry on press freedom is on again today, with reps from the Australian Federal Police up first.
AFP confirms a copy of their written responses to questions from the committee went to Home Affairs minister Peter Dutton before they went to the committee. No changes requested. It's kosher / standard to run responses past the responsible minister apparently.

Also, shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus and Liberal senator Eric Abetz have had a bit of a blow up, because Abetz keeps interjecting on Dreyfus' line of questioning. Dreyfus jokes Abetz is giving evidence now.

AFP has said they've changed their procedure since they were "probed" by a parliamentary privileges committee for contacting Dutton's office three times before they investigated the source of the au pair leaks.

Shadow Home Affairs minister Kristina Keneally is asking why a journo was raided when they wrote a story based off leaked info the govt "didn't like", but the docs leaked to the Australian for a story on the medivac bill didn't even warrant a phone call to the journo.
