Then pointing to the party's relatively ancient track record when it was the socially small-l liberal party of old versus a version of Labor that only exists today in the shoppies union factions is also a bad argument.
Plus pointing to Howard's gun reforms as a great moral vindication for his era alone ignores the Tampa affair and everything that came with it.
Not to say you can't be proud to have voted Liberal this election but these are weak arguments to justify it.
