Seriously, if you care about diversity and you repeatedly organize your event in a place where people from 3rd world can't get a visa to, you're lying to yourself.
that is an excellent question, but generally speaking medium-poor countries with an appetite for foreign capital/tourism would be my guess. For example I think it's exceptionally easy to get to South Africa.

I've done SA tourist visa - sure the list is bad, but it's as bad as everywhere. The key part is that they don't actually care, as far as I can tell. But if you have stories how people got tourist visa denied, I'm more than ready to change my stance

Looking at the map on Wikipedia, it does indeed seem very generous with visa-free entry. An important question is how they are with citizens of countries that need visas, but it does seem like a good place to go.
