Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's a misdirection of anger. Don't get me wrong, I hate that Net Neutrality is gone too, but this outage was caused by hackers. No matter how much or little is spent, a cyberterrorism assault will always do damage.

That means Comcast’s infrastructure wasn’t strong enough to prevent this. I don’t see how that’s a misdirection of anger.

Thousands upon thousands of routers, modems, and computers were hacked into with malware and viruses to trigger spam traffic to attack a specific point. It's like an F5 tornado touching down in times square. Your buildings are tall and strong, but they aint stoppin this.

Okay. I still don’t see how we shouldn’t be mad at Comcast over this. Again, this is a giant multi-divisional conglomerate that runs miniature broadband monopolies in many areas of the US. With all their money, I’m sure they can find a way to prevent this kind of stuff.

If you’re gonna lobby so hard to kill Net Neutrality, the least you could do is be well equipped for the toughest situations and attacks on your service. This just makes them looks bad.

I'm glad I'm with AT&T, then.. from what I heard, one of my friends said that AT&T is going to get Sued. I dunno about @comcast though... They need to get sued too.

Comcast and At&t are one company now.

When @ViasatInternet is more reliable than @comcast, you'd better believe something is wrong.

I cancelled my cable years ago and went DSL for my Internet. I have been very happy and I never looked back.
