    No one I spoke to at the actually recycled an old dress (a request to go green came with the invite). They went sustainable by borrowing then returning outfits, wearing reclaimed fabrics and selecting designers who prioritise reducing waste and pollution.

    What happens to all the fancy dresses from the and other big red carpets? The afterlife of all those iconic looks is a peculiar mix of gifting and keeping for designers.
