    The four sections I see are: Patterns, Growth, Systems, and Mind. Patterns move from randomness to a static state. Growth transitions from an almost isotropic kernel to a complex form.

    If I was financially independent, I would write a book about modelling natural processes with math and code. I'm still planning to write this book, but it'll be a life work in my spare time instead of my full time gig.

    It's cool when you can pack away an LED art project, complete with raspberry pi and a bunch of software, for more than 2 years. Then you plug it into mains and It Just Works. Feels like that never happens with online software anymore. A dependency or API somewhere breaks.

    Drifting in an autonomous vehicle. Uses rotation rate of the vehicle’s velocity vector to track the path, while yaw acceleration is used to stabilize sideslip. Could help autonomous vehicles in emergencies. Fun results.

    Not everything was perfect in 1995, but I think we've lost something on the way. Some remarks: 1) Underlined letters indicate keyboard shortcuts. How handy! 2) Design clearly says: "We are buttons!". It's easy to find the wanted button, because they have some color. 1/3

    Using Alan Watts' dialogue about controlled and uncontrolled dreams is a bit silly. The controlled dream is escapsism through media and preauthored narratives. The uncontrolled dream, with greater risks, is life.
