Why did it start with 41?
-
I think it's just a convenient spot to start that demonstrates a really long unbroken diagonal.

How long until some AI is going to find a pattern that really works to infinity and thus breaks all encryption?

How long does the long diagonal line go on for? Obviously not forever as a largest prime would be easy to calculate from the pattern.
-
That would be 41*41=1681 at the bottom left corner and 41*43=1763 at the top right corner.
