Replace “Also the ratio between...” with “This is because the ratio between...” Orig makes it sound like you are stating two relatively unrelated items, when in fact they are essentially corollaries of each other.

That is one of my favorite shortcuts. My motor scooter is Chinese, only has kph on speedometer. Multiply by 6, slide the decimal back, close enough!
