Only because you'll have to discard a lot of results, but if almost all your discarded results are the same, you look for a less biased coin

How abt the reverse: given 0<a<1, construct a biased coin w p(T)=a from an unbiased one.

It's pretty easy for the case a=n/d with d being a power of 2. Otherwise it doesn't sound possible to me...
