C'était effectivement assez compliqué avec ce centre de masse qui bouge, finalement !

If I had put the hourglass by hand at the bottom of a pool,I guess it had begun
and then
.I guess the glass tube avoids the twisting -
Under the assumption there is air inside the hourglass, so the bottom of the hourglass at the beginning has low density and tries to lift up

Initially, it's like a bubble trapped under a rock. Afterwards, it's like a hot-air balloon pulling up on that rock.
-
But if the air has enough lift to pull the rock from the top, why can't it push from underneath?
