It always baffles me as to how sigma(n) is -1/12 and sigma(1/n) is infinity. I know it is true, but it's so hard to understand

the sum of all integers is also divergent. the -1/12 value comes from analytic continuation, not our regular definition of summation

Pretty intuitive. Even though 1/n → 0 when n → ∞

Yup On limits we consider lim 1/x = 0 x->∞
