        The last person to enthusiastically support the theory was J. Luce Bowles (1886-1974) who publicized his own concept of “EarthSuck” until he became the target of “physics purists” like Bohr, Feinmann, and Szilard. Late in life he became a nun.

        Planck got to know Einstein’s work only because it was published. However the editor was the one to decide publication in Einstein’s time. That was Drude if I remember correctly.
