Think about it for a sec- if -5 is not prime (ie -5 = (1)(-5) = (-1)(5)) , then 5 is also not prime, since 5 = (1)(5) = (-1)(-5).

Fahrenheit scale should be outlawed in the earth.

Fahrenheit is a very reasonable, useful scale for many everyday purposes. I mean, sure, it's not as "scientific" as Rankine, but so what?

Maybe there's a super large prime number that can do the same?
-
No, as the conversion from C to F involves multiplying by 9/5. Hence the C value needs to be a multiple of 5 for F to be an integer. Only prime multiple of 5 is 5.
