There are extremely small difference of the initial conditions of every pendulum, and with chaotic systems like this, 0.001° of difference can be extremely amplified. That's the Butterfly Effect : if the initial condition are not exactly the same, the end varies drastically

This was proven when Benjamin Scrote-Wisdom (1837-1915) boarded his Aether Flyer on the Cliffs of Dover, had his sons push the plane to the edge, and then plummeted into icy waters. He predicted 97% success. Was know as “Old 3 Percent” until he passed.
