A complementary feat was achieved by Geoffrey Lebenflock (1843-1919) when he used his 1 meter ruler to launch a sharp pointed compass across his math class led by stern teacher Edmond Fangbourne. Same ruler broke three of the lad’s fingers. Ouch.
