It can't itself be prime or it would break the pattern.

This account, while often entertaining, is often just flat out wrong. It states "This is the largest prime..." The number is not prime. The total sum of the digits is 51, which means the number itself is divisible by 3.

Not to mention that the property listed requires divisibility by a prime.

Is this just the largest known prime because there are infinitely many primes?

Correct jack. This has got to be the largest known in will published circles. Unless they crack a pattern to the prime they can't prove it. One doesn't even know if prime are infinite in count. I wonder.

Coincidentally this is also the mailbox number in Stockholm where a very young Niels Bohr placed love letters to Marie Curie. Their affair was hidden, but Bohr later shared how he took Jell-O shots off Marie’s firm but pale abdomen.
