So does that mean "child" means "shield"? I always suspected...

A funnier coincidence is that this phenomenon was predicted by D. Longer Colon (1745-1799) while undergoing a delicate procedure performed by his gastroenterologist.

...or that Thomas Crapper held patents for significant improvements to the flush toilet.

Another coincidence: Despite of the fact that r=2M (in units og G=1, c=1) if g_(tt)=0 yielding: r=2M=2GM/c^2 can also be obtained by virtue of the classical eqn. 1/2*mc^2=GmM/r (when the escape velocity is c) yielding: r=2GM/c^2=R_(S).

This was the Laplace or Mitchell little calculus. It's not like that?

I read (or tried to read) Kip Thorne’s book “Black Holes and Time Warps: Einstein’s Outrageous Legacy” and he writes a good deal about the Schwarzchild Radius, of course. Most of the book is written for the layperson, but not all of it!

A strange implication: Minimum average density of a black hole is inversely proportional to the square of its mass. If it was massive enough, a black hole might be less dense than water (or air).
-
That is not quite true. The Rs is not the same as the edge of the black hole. It's not actually the average density of the black hole, but rather the average density of the black hole and the space between the black hole and the Rs.
