In my school time, I had learned that 355/113 ((Correct to 7 digits) is far better than the traditional 22/7 And the method of remembering it was also interesting. Write 113355. Then divide the last three digits by first three. Pi = 3.1415927 355/113 = 3.1415929

Which is because 355/113 is the next convergent of the continued fraction for pi. It's the best possible approximation of pi by any rational number with denominator 355 or less.

Awful lot of work for so little pi.

But still interesting, which is what the tweet is all about, not efficiency.

A better aproximstion is e=π
-
I see your e=π and raise a e=π=3 /s

why is it interesting? looks like an arbitrary result to me
-
Just because it's arbitrary doesn't make it uninteresting
