SCIENCE has some problems as all human endeavors have. However, only science can bring us into the inevitable future. Law, art, politics, religion//spirituality etc are needed by us, but do not lead us. Think>>>medicine, computers, space travel---ALL based in science

So refreshing, reading his thinking. Also this: http://www.feynman.com/science/what-is-science/ … “This sounds as though I am trying to tell you how to teach, but that is not my intention. I’m going to tell you what science is like by how I learned what science is like.”

“My father said, ‘No, I want him to pay attention to patterns. It is the only thing I can do that is mathematics at this earliest level.’ If I were giving a talk on ‘what is mathematics,’ I would already have answered you. Mathematics is looking for patterns.”pic.twitter.com/S1uUvXCpNU

The value of Science is its ability to establish knowledge of this world and knowledge of ourselves living in it. Science seems to be the only apt means by which to discern essential knowledege of nature, in general, and that is very clearly valuable to say the least!

The way he writes (in the attached excerpt) gives the impression that he objected the atomic bomb, when in fact he did assist in its development!
