One of my Professors at Imperial College built a magnetic monopole detector to test this theory in the late 70’s. The apparatus was situated deep underground in the Blackett Lab on Prince Consort Road. On May 5th 1980 the equipment went berserk.... 1/2

The faculty staff were highly excited about this groundbreaking find. Later that day they discovered that the reading was the result of a tremor caused when the SAS stormed the Iranian Embassy just round the corner. 2/2

Who made this list? Looks a bit one-sided. First non-European mathematician that comes to my mind: 🏴 Al-Khwarizmi ("Algorithmi") also plenty of math in 🇮🇳 (Pingala & Ramanujan) and 🇨🇳

        In general ∇ ⋅ A = 0 means "what goes around comes around" :)

Yeah that's true👌 because a single magnetic pole has never been isolated and magnetic poles are always found in pairs , in addition no matter how many Times a bar magnet is cut in two, each piece always has a north and a south pole

For a better understanding put a glance at Gauss's law in magnetism which is one of the four equations which constitue the maxwell's equations Just fond of electromagnetic theory ❤ and electromagnetism
