The ancient Babylonians in Mesopotamia, Iraq
have invented trigonometry almost 1000 years before Pythagoras was born. The earliest tangible record of the theorem comes from a number of cuneiform tablets with sketches dating to around 1000 B.C which are proofs of its early use.
