Mixed feeling about it. In the end the results are all stored in a database. So easy to manipulate with right access permissions. Manual count in open daylight by various members of opposing parties is the only transparent way I know to select winners and losers.

In Denmark we have luckily abstained from electronic voting. We have electronic voter rolls, but voting proces is pencil, paper and manual counting. It works. Voting ends at 8PM. Party votes are counted by midnight, personal by noon the day after.

should use blockchain

I did my bachelor researching that. Result: you're gonna have to choose transparency or privacy. Can't have both. Transactions have a high energy cost as well; a national election, using a public blockchain (like ethereum), is way worse emission wise than a paper-based election.

You still have not removed your tweet using my photo of Murray gell-mann without permission. I have offered to give permission if you give proper credit. Why won't you?

I prefer the old way with pencil and paper and rapresantives of all parties for the counting process... too much risk of various backdoors with an on line process
