That's an interesting story!
I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Lederman at @illinoistech in the mid 90s.
He loved making science understandable for non-scientists and I can totally see him pitch that title.

Ya know, the experiment that “proved” the existence of the Higgs boson particle was well within the margin of error. Still hasn’t been proven. I believe that mass is not caused by a particle/field. It is caused by spin of planckian spherical units that make up the cosmic foam
