Yep, that’s basically how the mathematics community reacted to the proof/construction. Kinda like the discovery of the irrational or imaginary numbers...or the introduction of a desirable electric car. With great change comes great resistance.

Just draw a tangent line wherever you need it. Computer vision could easily do that now. Take a snapshot and now the underlying fractal is irrelevant because the image won't contain that extra info.
